HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!

This past week we got to spend with both our families for Thanksgiving. On Tuesday Brandon's aunts and their kids came up to St. George to have an early Thanksgiving dinner at his grandparents house. It was a lot of fun hearing the funny stories of them growing up. I got to know his cousins a little bit more. It was the first time I've really gotten to meet them because we met them at our wedding but with all the people and everything that was going on I didnt really get to hang out with them. Then wed. night we drove up to Salt Lake to spend the rest of the week with my extended family. It was so fun! We got to see cousins we hadn't seen in years and hang out with everyone. My cousin had premature twin boys about three months ago and they are so so darling. They are the size of newborns now and everyone was passing them around. Brandon for sure loved them! He always was holding one or feeding. He's going to be such a great daddy!

We also both got JOBS!! WOOHOO! After months and months of me not being able to find a job and Brandon doing little side jobs here and there, we both landed great long term jobs! I am working at a law firm as a secretary and Brandon landed a job at an assisted living for seniors. He is finishing up his CNA right now and will start his first shift in about three weeks. He is super excited and can't wait to meet the fun residents!

More great news is that we both are starting school January! FINALLY! Seriously this past year since we've been engaged we have been in limbo land of decided what we were doing, where we were going to live, jobs, school just about everthing. So after one whole year we have both decided that starting school would be a great option. Plus a great benefit we both got was finacial aid! It has been such a blessing to finally have a plan and have goals that aren't just temporary now. We finally feel like we are moving forward and making progress as a married couple and starting our lives. Its so exciting to see how everything will turn out but in the end whatever is supposed to happen always does! Hope everyone is having a great holiday season!

Love,
JC
